On March 20, we welcomed Lithuanian volunteers who spent 2 months in Türkiye. They were volunteering in Ankara- the capital city of Türkiye. Dominykas, Airida, Arnas and Valeria talked about their experiences: memories, challenges, work, problems and so on. Our Turkish volunteer Kerem and Azerbaijani volunteer Aydan asked some questions about their experience in Türkiye. In the bustling city of Ankara, our volunteers embarked on a two-month journey that was both challenging and enriching. Their experiences navigating cultural differences, facing obstacles, and creating lasting memories would shape their time in Türkiye 's vibrant capital.

Ankara greeted the volunteers with its lively streets, fragrant teas, and colorful markets. But beneath its surface lay a world of challenges and complexities that would test their adaptability and resilience. From language barriers to logistical hurdles, the volunteers encountered difficulties that pushed them out of their comfort zones. Despite the obstacles, they learned to overcome them with determination and perseverance.
Amidst the challenges, the volunteers formed bonds and created memories that would stay with them forever. Exploring the city, sharing meals with locals, and discovering the richness of Turkish culture became cherished experiences. Navigating cultural differences became a part of everyday life for the volunteers. They learned to appreciate the traditions, customs, and social norms of Türkiye, finding common ground in kindness and respect.

As their time in Ankara came to an end, the volunteers left with a newfound appreciation for cultural diversity and the power of human connection. Their journey was not just about volunteering—it was about embracing challenges, making memories, and building bridges across cultures.
