It's another month in Lithuania. During winter, we barely saw sunlight for 6 hours, which was a bit sad since I used to feel its warmth on my skin in Turkey. But now it's May, and we only experience nighttime for 6 hours. Despite that, you'll still catch the sun, and you'll notice the sky's blue hue even at 10:30 pm. In this photo, it was 10:00 pm, and the warmth was palpable. It was truly a magical moment for me.

We had a career day at Musninkai High School. We went to explain our professions to the teenagers. As an English Language Teacher, I played some vocabulary games called "Wheel of Fortune". Ekaterina, who studied Biology in Georgia, played games related to Biology. Aydan, who studied Political Science in Azerbaijan, asked the teenagers what they would do if they were President of Lithuania. It seemed like all the classes enjoyed it. At the end of the lessons, we gathered in a big hall and were given certificates for participating in the activity. Many people who graduated from Musninkai High School came to represent their professions, making it a big event.

On Friday, it was the 100th anniversary of Širvintos High School. The principal invited us to watch the show. The teenage band played Apocalyptica's song "Bittersweet". Last month, I went to a concert to meet my teenage crush. When I heard that they were playing my crush's song and an Apocalyptica song, I was thrilled. After the concert, we played Kahoot about the history of the high school, and the top 3 winners received prizes. The school's history was rich, and they were rightfully proud of it.

Next Wednesday and Thursday, a famous police officer in Širvintos came to explain basic traffic rules, and of course, we played Kahoot again. Teenagers in this country really enjoy playing Kahoot. They could even play it for hours without getting bored. The police officer gave us some sparkling traffic t-shirts. She was so cool that everyone loved her. Despite not knowing English, I liked her calm and friendly attitude.

The following week, we had a Karaoke Day in Musninkai with the girls. And I have good news – a small news for everyone, but a big one for us! We now have a fully qualified coffee machine in Musninkai! We can drink Cappuccino and everything from now on. After our karaoke party, we painted t-shirts while listening to music together. It was a great time to have fun together. Also, our lovely plant Nina has been well taken care of. She's not dead yet!

Širvintos' beautiful Mayor visited Gelvonai Youth Center. We were honored to have her. She was so cool, communicating with everyone easily. She was friendly and talkative, bringing lots of pizzas for us. I was on a diet, but I couldn't stop myself and ate 4 slices of pizza. I must also admit that she is a very beautiful woman.

Every Monday, we visit the high school to promote the youth center. One Monday, we played Taboo. As you can see in the photo, I was holding a phone with words written on it, and the others were trying to explain without saying the words. After this activity, we played the "Zone" game. There were three circles: comfort zone, learning zone, and panic zone. Statements like "I can watch horror movies at night" were read, and if it was comfortable for them, they would stay in the first circle; if not, they would stay in the panic zone. To sum up, we had great fun together, and they seemed relieved to not think about their exams.

Finally, my childhood dream has come true! I had never seen the Northern Lights in my life, but since childhood, I always wanted to. I cannot believe that one of my dreams came true again in Lithuania. I saw my teenage crush, and now I saw the aurora lights on the Eurovision final evening! Thank you for everything, Lithuania! And thank you for the people who brought me in this country!
