My last month in Lithuania

As I approach the final month of my volunteering journey in Lithuania, I find myself reflecting on the incredible experiences and meaningful connections I've made here. This beautiful country, with its rich history, vibrant culture, and welcoming people, has become a second home to me. From the bustling streets of Vilnius to the historic charm of Kaunas, Lithuania's allure has left an indelible mark on my heart.

My time here has been filled with numerous rewarding moments, from working with local communities to supporting various social initiatives. I've had the privilege of collaborating with passionate individuals and organizations dedicated to making a positive impact. The challenges and triumphs we've faced together have not only strengthened my skills but also deepened my appreciation for the spirit of volunteerism.

We kicked off the month with a vibrant evening watching the Eurovision final with the youngsters at our youth center. The excitement in the air was palpable as we eagerly awaited the winner, making it a night of joy and camaraderie. The following week, we turned up the fun with a disco party at the youth center, a night that was brimming with music, dancing, and smiles, providing endless entertainment for everyone.

I also had the pleasure of visiting some friends in Vilnius, where we spent quality time together, catching up and enjoying the city's charm. The week after, I had the unique opportunity to attend the opening ceremony of a monument in Širvintos, where I met the Lithuanian president for the second time. It was an honor to be part of such a significant event.

My last week was equally enriching, with a visit to the Molėtai youth center. Exploring the city and getting to know new people was an incredible experience, adding another layer of depth to my time here. On my final day in Mobility Work in Musninkai, I had a wonderful time with the youngsters, celebrating a Georgian cultural day. Planning activities and sharing this special day with them was a fitting end to my journey, filled with joy and creativity.

Throughout this experience, I have learned so much about myself and my abilities. I am profoundly grateful to my team and everyone who made my time here so enriching and entertaining. I hope to have another chance to meet them again and reminisce about the good old days.
