Lithuanian Group Consisted of Four Young Participants from Musninkai and Gelvonai Towns

The young people of Širvintos region have more and more excellent opportunities to participate in international projects. This area of ​​projects became much more active after the experienced specialist Živile Jankauskaitė-Turkmen started working in the Open Youth Space.

Many may have already forgotten what happened in March, but we, the organizers, are just finishing all the reports of the international project "ERASMUS +", and we already had representatives from the Youth Affairs Agency as guests who checked the project "Healthy habits for a healthier generation". , the purpose of which is to develop young people's healthy lifestyle skills during physical activities.

A total of 31 14-29 year olds participated in the project. age young man from Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Spain, France and Lithuania, also project organizers, group leaders. The Lithuanian group consisted of manager Jelena Masiukė and four young people from the towns of Musninkai and Gelvonai, attending mobile work classes.

It took a lot of effort to make everything go smoothly. After all, the beginning of the project is not so attractive documentary work, preparation of application, signing of contracts, selection of project participants and partners. Only when we know the specific dates, we coordinate when the participants will arrive, we start looking for a place to stay, feed, we take care of how to meet the participants, pick them up from the airport, we organize all the activities.

This time, all participants were accommodated in the Spadviliškii guest house.

The week in Širvintos passed very well for everyone, and we ended it by becoming good friends and gathering for a sensitive farewell evening.

All participants of the project were awarded "Youthpass" - certificates certifying experience in the youth field of the "Erasmus +" program. For some of the participants, it was the first time in the ERASMUS + exchange program, for some it was the first time they traveled outside their country.

We sincerely thank the Širvintos District Municipality, the Širvintos Sports Center, the Širvintos Open Youth Space, the community of Musninkai village and all the volunteers who contributed to the implementation of the project for their help.
